Join this class and you are in for a real treat! Combining together both Ikebana and Origami, Joice Francine, will lead you into the fantastical world of HANAGAMI

For this HANAGAMI class, bring your creativity and we will support you with some Origami and Ikebana theory.

The most important thing is that folding and flowers can help you relax and this class can be a therapeutic time for you to focus and create. You don’t need so many rules: let’s relax and enjoy touching papers and flowers while adding life and warmth to your home in this class.

 

Please note: This class requires at least four (4) students to run. Class will start at 10 am. Prepaid booking is required

Suitable for: This class is a great indoor activity, idea for individuals and couples as well as for a birthday, arisan, or hens party. This would also be a nice wellness (get-well soon) gift.

 

*All our workshops include food and drink from MIDORI coffee (A Japanese Kissaten coffee shop). We always have plenty of delicious Teishoku (Japanese meal set) or Ja-pas (Japanese Tapas set) offer at every workshop.

About the Instructor

Joice Francine: A free spirited calligrapher who loves art, reading, traveling and Japanese culture.

Having an interest in calligraphy from an early age, she has the opportunity to pursue this interest deeper through multiple teacher. Her calligraphy experience being akin to meditation, she thus found enjoyment and love to share her journey and passion in calligraphy through teaching. Her art passion and interest in Japan culture brought her journey to ikebana ( flower arrangement) and origami.

Part Ikebana. Part Origami

Workshop will start by making crane origami. After that participants will start make the flower arrangements and make a final touch by putting it on acrylic stand.

Arranging flowers require a loving heart, happy smile and positive vibe, so make sure you bring it along with you. Participants can bring home their creation.
