When you create an Account, book a reservation, or place or pay for an order in-person
When you register for an Account on Selesa, you provide information about yourself, including your name, email address, phone number, physical address, birthday and other important dates, company name, job title, a photograph, credit card information, cuisine and hospitality preferences, and dietary restrictions, including allergies and aversions.
When you book a reservation through Selesa, we collect information about your transaction, including the name and location of the restaurant, bar, coffee shop, winery, brewery, or other venue (“Business”) at which you booked the reservation, the date and time of your reservation, your credit card information, and the amount you pay.
When you place or pay for an order in-person through Selesa, we collect information about your transaction, including the name and location of the Business at which you order, the date and time at which you order and pay, the experiences or items you order, your credit card information, and the amount you pay.
When you communicate with the Selesa team
When you communicate with us through the Site or via email or text, we keep a record of your communications.
Through cookies and other automatic data collection technologies
Selesa uses automatic data collection technologies to collect information when you visit and use the Site. Information collected by Selesa through these technologies includes your IP address, the city in which your IP address is located, the type and version of browser you are using, the website from which you came, your language preference, and the way in which you interact with the Site. How Your Information Is Used by Selesa, and With Whom Selesa Shares It
We use the information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, (i) to present the Site and its contents to you; (ii) to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us; (iii) to provide you with notices about your Account; (iv) to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection; (v) to notify you about changes to the Site or the Service; (vi) to alert you to new developments, features and enhancements to the Site or Service and events of interest; (vii) to allow you to participate in the interactive features of the Site; (viii) to solicit feedback from you; (ix) to make updates to and to “debug” the Site or the Service; (x) to fulfill any purpose for which you provide it; and (xi) for any other purpose with your consent.

You acknowledge that messaging and data rates may apply depending on your mobile phone service provider and that you are solely responsible for paying such rates.
If you opt in to using location services for any Selesa applications, we may collect and store information about your current location in order to enhance and customize your experience using such Selesa applications (e.g., by showing you nearby Businesses).
We may use and disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. We may disclose information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy (i) to any affiliates; (ii) for internal marketing and demographic studies; (iii) to our third-party service providers and partners (Businesses, payment processors, third-party delivery partners, analytics companies, third parties who deliver marketing messages and advertisements on our behalf, and strategic partners); (iv) to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of Selesa’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which information held by Selesa about the Site is among the assets transferred; (v) to our investors; (vi) to fulfill any purpose for which you provide it; and (vii) to any other third parties with your consent.

Where Your Information Is Stored
Currently, Selesa maintains and stores your information on servers located within Indonesia. Therefore, your information may be transferred to, used, processed or held by Selesa in Indonesia for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. If you are accessing the Site from outside Indonesia, please be advised that Indonesia law may not offer the same privacy protections as the law of your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you understand and consent to the transfer to, use, processing and holding of your information on our servers in Indonesia and by those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Privacy Policy.
Safeguarding Your Information

Unfortunately, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Selesa. Any transmission of information is at your own risk. Once we receive your information, Selesa uses commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of such information on our systems; however, we cannot guarantee that such information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, managerial, technical or other safeguards.
If Selesa learns of a security systems breach, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps.
Review and Correction of Your Information and Deletion of Your Account
We will retain your information for as long as your Account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services. We may retain aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
You may review and change your information by logging into the Site and visiting your Account. You may also email our Privacy Officer at privacy@discoverselesa.com to request access to, correct or delete any information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
You may delete your Account by logging into the Site and visiting your Account or by emailing our Privacy Officer at privacy@discoverselesa.com Even if you delete your Account, we may retain your information in our electronic data and other files and use your information as necessary to maintain the security, integrity and effective operation of the Site, to comply with our technical and legal obligations, to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements and policies, and to take other actions required or permitted by law. Deletion of your Account will not remove your interactions with other Site users from the Site. If you have interacted with other users of the Site, including but not limited to transferring a reservation, such interactions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other users of the Site. In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties’ policies.
How to Opt Out of Having Your Information Used or Shared
If you would like to opt-out of having your information shared with parties outside of Selesa, its affiliates, and its third-party service providers and partners, except to the extent required by law, court order, or as requested by other government or law enforcement authority, please email our Privacy Officer at privacy@discoverselesa.com.
If you’d like to have your name removed from our promotional mailing list or a Business’s promotional mailing list, please email our Privacy Officer at privacy@discoverselesa.com. You may also opt-out of promotional email messages from Selesa or a Business by following the instructions contained within the emails sent to you by Selesa or a Business, respectively.
You may opt-out of receiving SMS text messages related to your reservation from Selesaor a Business at any time by emailing our Privacy Officer at privacy@discoverselesa.com or replying to any text message received with “STOP”.
You can use the settings on your mobile device to enable or turn off mobile push notifications from Selesa and location services for any Selesa applications.
Most browsers are automatically set to accept cookies whenever you visit a website. You can disable cookies or set your browser to alert you when cookies are being sent; however, some areas of the Site will not function properly if you do so.
